The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
