We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
