Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
