The tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
