The tree of Zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 among gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
