It is He who has made the earth subservient to you. You walk through its vast valleys and eat of its sustenance. Before Him you will all be resurrected. 15 Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 16 Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning? 17 Those who came before them also gave the lie (to the Messengers): then how awesome was My chastisement! 18 Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. 19 Or, who is it that shall be your host to help you, other than the Merciful? Indeed, the unbelievers are only deluded. 20 Or, who is it that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion. 21 What! is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path? 22 Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." 23 Say, “It is He Who has spread you out in the earth, and towards Him you will be raised.” 24 They say, "When will this torment take place if what you say is true?" 25 Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner. 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: He is the Beneficent Allah, we believe in Him and on Him do we rely, so you shall come to know who it is that is in clear error. 29 Say to them: “Did you even consider: if all the water that you have (in the wells) were to sink down into the depths of the earth, who will produce for you clear, flowing water?” 30
