Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 and have said to each other, 'Do not give-up your idols. Do not renounce Wadd, Suwa`, Yaghuth, Ya`uq and Nasr (names of certain idols). 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 “O my Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and the believers who are in my house, and all other Muslim men and Muslim women; and do not increase anything for the unjust except ruin.” 28
