And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
