The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
