The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
