The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
