The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 "Enter therein in peace and security!" -- 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
