The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
