Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
