Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
