The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
