The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
