۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
