Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
