Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 As also in your own selves: Will ye not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak. 23
