He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and make my task easy for me. 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 So shall we glorify Thee, 33 "And remember You much, 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 Then your sister followed you, and said (to the people who had retrieved the child): 'Should I guide you to a person who can nurse him?' We thus brought you back to your mother that her heart may be cheered, and she may not grieve. (Remember) when you killed a man We saved you from anguish; and tested and steeled you (in other ways). Afterwards you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian; then you came up to the measure, 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
