Say, "Who will save you from the wrath of the Most Gracious, by night and by day?" Yet they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Or have they aliha (gods) who can guard them from Us? They have no power to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us (i.e. from Our Torment). 43 We gave days of enjoyment to them and their fathers until their life became long. Are they unable to see how We come to their land and reduce its borders. Or, is it they who are the victors? 44 Say, "I warn you only through the Revelation." But the deaf can hear nothing when they are warned, 45 And if a breath (minor calamity) of the Torment of your Lord touches them, they will surely cry: "Woe unto us! Indeed we have been Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). 46 We shall set up scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul can be in the least wronged. Actions as small as a grain of mustard seed shall be weighed. We are sufficient as a reckoner. 47 To Moses and Aaron We granted the criteria of discerning right from wrong, and We gave them the light and a reminder to the pious ones 48 Who are fearful of their Lord inwardly and dread the Hour. 49 And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it? 50
