The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
