▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
