[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
