The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O you who are clothed! 1 arise and warn, 2 And thy Lord do thou magnify! 3 And keep your clothes clean. 4 and defilement flee! 5 And do not confer favor to acquire more 6 and persevere for your Lord's sake. 7 So when the Trumpet will be blown. 8 So that is a tough day. 9 Dolorous for the unbelievers. 10 Let Me alone with him whom I created lonely. 11 and whom I have granted abundant wealth 12 And children present [with him] 13 And I adjusted affairs for him adjustably; 14 and who still desires more. 15 Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations. 16 I shall soon constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 For he thought and he plotted;- 18 So let him be cursed! How he plotted! 19 Again, may he be cursed how he plotted; 20 and then he looks [around for new arguments,] 21 Then frowned he and scowled. 22 Then turned he away in pride 23 Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 I will surely roast him in the Scorching. 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 making [all truth] visible to mortal man. 29 Over it are Nineteen. 30 We have appointed none but angels as the keepers of the Fire, and We have not made their number but as a trial for the unbelievers so that those who have been endowed with the Book will be convinced and the believers' faith will increase, and neither those who have been endowed with the Book nor the believers will fall into any doubt. As for those in whose hearts there is a sickness as well as the unbelievers, they will say: “What did Allah aim at by this strange parable?” Thus does Allah let whomsoever He pleases to go astray, and directs whomsoever He pleases to the Right Way. And none knows the hosts of your Lord but He. (And Hell has only been mentioned here) that people may take heed. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
