Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
