۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
