The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
