Originator of the heavens and the earth! How should He have a son when there is for Him no spouse? And He hath created everything and He is Knower of everything. 101 That is Allah, your Lord, there is no god but He; the Creator of all things, therefore serve Him, and He has charge of all things. 102 No human vision can encompass Him, whereas He encompasses all human vision: for He alone is unfathomable, all-aware. 103 Indeed there have come to you clear proofs from your Lord; whoever will therefore see, it is for his own soul and whoever will be blind, it shall be against himself and I am not a keeper over you. 104 Thus in varied ways We explain Our signs so that they may say: "You have been instructed," and that We might make it clear to those who understand. 105 Follow thou what has been revealed to thee from thy Lord; there is no god but He; and turn thou away from the idolaters. 106 Had God willed, they were not idolaters; and We have not appointed thee a watcher over them, neither art thou their guardian. 107 Believers, do not say bad words against the idols lest they (pagans) in their hostility and ignorance say such words against God. We have made every nation's deeds seem attractive to them. One day they will all return to their Lord who will inform them of all that they have done. 108 And they swear by Allah with the strongest of their oaths, that if a sign came to them they would most certainly believe in it. Say: Signs are only with Allah; and what should make you know that when it comes they will not believe? 109 We (too) shall turn to (confusion) their hearts and their eyes, even as they refused to believe in this in the first instance: We shall leave them in their trespasses, to wander in distraction. 110
