A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a multitude of those of later time. 40 BUT AS FOR those who have persevered in evil - what of those who have persevered in evil? 41 (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water, 42 and under the shadow of black smoke, 43 Neither cool nor pleasant. 44 They had lived in luxury before this 45 And used to persist in the awful sin. 46 And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 47 "(We) and our fathers of old?" 48 Say, "Indeed, the earlier ones and the later ones 49 Shall most surely be gathered together for the appointed hour of a known day. 50 Then shall you, O you who err and call it a lie! 51 shall eat the fruit of the tree of Zaqqum, 52 and you shall fill therewith your bellies 53 And shall be drinkers thereon of boiling water. 54 and you will drink as the lapping of thirsty camels. 55 Thus shall they be entertained on the Day of Recompense. 56 We have created you, so why do you not believe? 57 Have you seen that which you emit? 58 Do you yourselves create it, or are We the Creators? 59 We have destined death for you and no one can challenge Us 60 That We may transfigure you and make you what ye know not. 61 And verily ye know the first creation. Why, then, do ye not reflect? 62 Have you considered what you sow? 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder, 65 And say: "We have fallen into debt; 66 Indeed, we have been deprived of the fruits of our labour." 67 Have you seen the water which you drink? 68 Do you send it down from the clouds, or We send it down? 69 Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks? 70 Consider the fire that you strike. 71 Did you make its timber to grow, or did We make it? 72 We! it is We Who made it a reminder and a provision unto the campers. 73 Then, exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 74

Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
