Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
