And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
