We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
