See you not those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah? How are they turning away (from the truth, i.e. Islamic Monotheism to the falsehood of polytheism)? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
