He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
