What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
