Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
