Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth halloweth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Manifest and the Hidden, and He has knowledge of everything. 3 He it is who has created the heavens and the earth in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness. He knows all that enters the earth, and all that comes out of it, as well as all that descends from the skies, and all that ascends to them. And He is with you wherever you may be; and God sees all that you do. 4 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him are all matters referred (for judgement). 5 He plungeth the night into the day, and plungeth the day into the night, and He is the Knower of whatsoever is in the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward. 7 If you are true indeed to this covenant, why do you not believe in God, when His Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord with whom you have made a solemn covenant? 8 He it is Who sendeth down unto His bondman manifest signs that He may bring you forth from darknesses into the light; and verily Allah is unto you Tender, Merciful. 9 And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. 10
