Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The craving for ever-greater worldly gains and to excel others in that regard keeps you occupied 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
