Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
