Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The unbelievers of the People of the Book and the idolaters would never leave off; till the Clear Sign came to them, 1 A messenger from Allah, reading purified pages 2 Wherein are discourses eternal. 3 And they scattered not, those that were given the Book, excepting after the Clear Sign came to them. 4 They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. 5 Those who disbelieved – be they from among the People of the Book or among those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity– shall be in the Fire, and will abide in it. They are the worst of creatures. 6 Verily those who believe and work righteous works - these! they are the best of the creation. 7 Whose reward is with their Lord -- gardens of Eden with rivers flowing by, where they will abide for ever, God pleased with their service, they with obedience to Him. This (awaits) him who stands in awe of his Lord. 8
