The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 and produce sparks 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
