The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
