Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
