Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
