Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 And those who spend their nights bowed and standing before their Lord; 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous." 74 They will be rewarded the highest position in heaven, the recompense of their patience, and they will be welcomed with honour and greetings of peace. 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
