They ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust; 105 and leave the earth level and bare, 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 On that Day mankind will follow strictly (the voice of) Allah's caller, no crookedness (that is without going to the right or left of that voice) will they show him (Allah's caller). And all voices will be humbled for the Most Beneficent (Allah), and nothing shall you hear but the low voice of their footsteps. 108 On that day no intercession shall avail, except the one for whom the Most Beneficent (Allah) has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they comprehend Him not in knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 And the one who does some good deeds, and is a Muslim – he shall have no fear of injustice, nor suffer any loss. 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 So high [above all] is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge." 114 And certainly We gave a commandment to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find in him any determination. 115
