The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, 181 And weigh with an even balance. 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 "You are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars! 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 191
