We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
